Crystal Kung Minkoff Rocked a Hot Pink Dress with a Thigh-High Slit at an Oscar Party
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member wore a “dream” dress on Hollywood’s biggest night.
Dreams come true on Oscar night — and not just not for trophy winners. On March 12, Crystal Kung Minkoff took to Instagram to shout out the glam squad responsible for her outrageously glamorous look at the 31st Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party. “Thank you… for this incredible dream,” she wrote. And indeed, Crystal’s hot pink Stello dress with a thigh-high slit is what fashion dreams are made of.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member worked with stylist Anya Sarre for the megawatt event. She paired her showstopping dress with strappy sandals, a gold clutch, and baubles by designer Siena Lasker. “Always keeping me dripping in diamonds,” Crystal wrote, tagging Siena.
The coconut water mogul wore blown-out curls courtesy of stylist Jessica Rose Gordon-Carson. (Her voluminous look included extensions from Mane Bae.) And for her beauty beat, Crystal credited “the incomparable Deanna Marchese.” Her makeup meshed beautifully with her dress, giving her eyes, lips, and cheeks a rosy pink tint.
Crystal shared the results of her squad’s incredible achievement in glam in an Instagram post, which saw her posing with her husband, Rob Minkoff, and a few dolled-up friends.
On the day leading up to the event, Crystal provided some glimpses into her getting-ready routine. Her process included “vacuum therapy,” which promotes collagen and blood flow. She also booked an appointment at a Beverly Hills spa for the “facial of [her] dreams” and treated her tresses to a scalp and hair treatment. Both services included products from the cult-status French brand Biologique Recherche.
Before Hollywood had its big night, Crystal had one of her own. For her recent 40th birthday, the mother of two had a star-studded bash that included its own red-carpet-ready styles.
Just a few weeks after Crystal celebrated her actual birthday in a long sparkly emerald dress, she showed up to her “Fabulous 40”–themed party in another gorgeous green look. Crystal posted several photos from the event on her Instagram page.
“Rain is confetti from the sky!” she wrote in the caption of her February 25 post. “Thank you to my friends and family who [bore] LA’s torrential downpour to come celebrate my 40th birthday. I promise I’m done with my birthday!”
Among the “friends and family” who made it to the party were Crystal’s RHOBH castmates Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley, Sutton Stracke, Garcelle Beauvais, and Erika Jayne. Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles’ Tracy Tutor also attended, as did Sutton’s longtime friend, Chucky actress Jennifer Tilly.
