Here's What's on the Menu at Denise Richards’ House
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum shares what a typical dinner looks like at her home.
Denise Richards was having a hard time wrangling her whole family to sit down for dinner together, so she came up with a plan (and a piece of chalk.) "Chef mom" decided to lay out a few rules and regulations regarding dinnertime at her house, and she used a schoolhouse-style technique to share them with her crew.
"Sometimes it’s challenging with everyone’s schedule ... so I’m trying this," The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum wrote in a January 28 Instagram post. "I have a giant chalkboard for everyone to see. I told the family [to] either show up or don’t. And if you don’t a plate will be saved but I can’t keep timing dinner for everyone. I’ll let you know how it goes."
Along with broadcasting that night's 6:30 p.m. dinnertime, the chalkboard sign laid out the menu in detail. There was homemade chicken noodle soup for starters, followed by slow-roasted chicken, mashed potatoes, and vegetables including green beans and a cucumber salad. And for dessert, the actress tapped a special guest pastry chef. The meal ended with homemade brownies topped with ice cream, "courtesy of" her nine-year-old daughter Eloise.
"You snooze you lose!" Denise wrote.
