Dorit Kemsley Reveals Her First Designer Bag and More Fashion Secrets
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills beauty shares how she finds inspiration for her iconic looks and what perfume she keeps on standby.
Dorit Kemsley kicked off 2021 with a flurry of fan questions about — you guessed it — her style. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills beauty took to her Instagram Stories for a rapid round of "Ask Me Anything" which quickly turned into a sartorial session in which the mom of two opened up about her most memorable fashion buys.
Dorit, who also shared her favorite Christmas present and her history with plastic surgery, was an open book about her closet full of designer duds and how she finds inspiration for her legendary looks. "Sometimes I'm inspired by a piece or accessory that I like," she explained in one caption. "Wear what makes you feel good," she mused in another.
But when, do you ask, did she get bitten by her first designer bag bug? Her answer had a surprising reference to another iconic, fashion-obsessed blonde. Dorit's first designer bag was the Fendi baguette. "I bought it myself and I was so proud," she said. "I was obsessed with Sex in the City and Carrie Bradshaw...I felt so cool when I bought my first one. You never forget your first."
So, is her lavish Encino wardrobe filled only with high-end clothes? "No, but I have a lot of designer clothes," she confessed. "I like what I like and I've always loved high fashion. That doesn't mean I don't wear clothes that aren't designer," she clarified. "I just happen to wear a lot of designer clothes." Fair enough.
Once Dorit is decked out in her pricey threads, which perfume does she reach for? "I have about 3/4 different @jomalonelondon that I love," she explained. "I rotate depending on my mood and sometimes I combine two of them. My faves are wood sage and sea salt, myrrh and tonic, dark amber and ginger lily. I also love @sergelutens la vierge de fer."
Well, there you have it.
