Garcelle Beauvais Is Building a Stunning Beach House: “It’s a Pretty Big Deal”
“I didn’t grow up knowing anyone who owned more than one home or even owned a home,” The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member shared.
At NBCUniversal’s upfront presentation last month, Garcelle Beauvais shared an exciting update with BravoTV.com: “I bought a beach cottage, and I’m redoing it.” The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member explained that she had “just demoed” the house, and on the June 8 episode of RHOBH, she offered more details about her plans for her future vacation home in Ventura County.
While sharing that she “bought a house just to knock it down,” Garcelle explained, “everything basically is going.”
“My vision is to build at least 2,700 square [feet],” she said in an interview as the episode showed renderings. “I want to go up. I want to have different decks. I want it to be modern. I just want it to be a place my kids can go and just have fun, create memories, and when I’m gone, they can say, ‘This is really cool that mom did this.’”
Purchasing the property was an incredibly significant moment for Garcelle. “I didn’t grow up knowing anyone who owned more than one home or even owned a home,” she shared. “So for me, buying a beach house, it’s a pretty big deal.”
Later, she added, “I’m really proud of myself.”
