Gigi Hadid Shares Her Surprising No.1 Pregnancy Craving
Yolanda Hadid's pregnant daughter revealed what she's been eating every day – and how it connects to her incredible 25th birthday cake.
While pregnant with her first child, breakfast being the most important meal of the day has new meaning for Gigi Hadid.
"My craving has been everything bagels," The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Yolanda Hadid's daughter told Jimmy Fallon in a recent Tonight Show interview. "I eat an everything bagel a day."
Gigi's desire for the food is so strong that her family, including sister Bella Hadid, got her an everything bagel cake to ring in her recent 25th birthday, which blew the model's mind for more reasons than one.
"I was already so excited that my birthday cake was an everything bagel," she said of the dessert, which was "marble cake with chocolate chip butter cream" inside of it. "But then I found out that Buddy [Valastro], the Cake Boss, made my cake."
After the family fete at Yolanda's farm, where Gigi and Bella are currently hunkered down, Gigi took to Instagram to show off the impressive bagel spread they enjoyed that day in addition to the cake. Of course, Gigi, who is a Cake Boss superfan, couldn't help but express her gratitude to Valastro. "This is a dream come true. I can’t believe you made this cake for me while the bakery is closed," she wrote at the time. "It means more to me than you know."
As it turns out, the day was centered around multiple meals. "We did, like, a breakfast party of a few people and then a dinner party with the same few people," Gigi told Fallon. "So we tried to, like, make it a day."
Bella shared a few glimpses of the "very farmy birthday" as well, including a variety of colorful balloons, numerous presents, and other enviable eats including silver dollar pancakes and bacon. Bella also shared a sweet snap of Gigi wearing a plastic crown, noting the day had "princess vibes."
