RHOBH's Kathy Hilton Shares Her Number 1 Fashion Rule

Kathy Hilton will be appearing in Season 11 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and we're already gearing up for the glamour. The eldest sister to RHOBH regulars Kyle Richards and Kim Richards will no doubt make her debut decked out in luxurious looks — but thankfully, she's generous enough to share her style advice with the rest of us.
Kathy and her famous daughters Paris and Nicky revealed more than a few fashion lessons in a recent interview with Vogue, and Kathy's singular sartorial rule may surprise you. In the interview, Kathy explained that she and her daughters council each other on high-end fashion buys. "I don't buy anything, and they don't, unless we all agree on it," she explained. "We'll share ideas — they'll ask me and I'll ask them."
Naturally, when you have everything from vintage Chanel to 90s-era Valentino at your fingertips, borrowing has practically become a family tradition. "They make themselves very at home in the closet," she confessed, with a particular affinity for her handbags and jewelry.
But when it comes to wisdom for the well-dressed, Kathy has only one rule. "You don't have to put on everything in the closet," she implored. Less is more, ladies. Unless, of course, you're talking about your jewelry collection — in which case more is definitely more.
