Here's Proof It's "Christmas Forever" at Kathy Hilton's Bel-Air Mansion
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills pal isn't ready to take down her holiday decor just yet.
While some Bravolebs are expressing their sadness about taking down their holiday decor this week, Kathy Hilton is still keeping things festive at her Bel-Air home.
In a January 5 Instagram Story photo, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills pal showed one of her many Christmas trees — and her "Christmas forever" hashtag implied she's not planning on dismantling it any time soon.
It's easy to see why she's not ready to part ways with her gorgeous seasonal decor just yet. A recent Architectural Digest video gave a closer look at the "extra special" flocked tree's sparkling silver, pink, and gold baubles, chic white reindeer, and glowing white lights. As Kathy declared in the video, when it comes to her Christmas trees, "lighting is everything." With that in mind, she explained, "I always get a pre-lit tree. I think that it's just easier."
Kathy, who transforms her home for the holiday each year, also offered another pro tree tip: "You can never do enough fluffing."
In a separate interview with AD, Kathy admitted she is "a control freak when it comes to the ornaments" on her trees. "My husband likes to hang some of them," she said. "And I’m like, 'No, no, no, Rick, no.'”
Some of Kathy's other holiday decorations include gorgeous garlands, homemade wreaths, festive figures, "little vintage houses" topping her dining room table, and a "huge Santa and his workshop" in her kitchen.
In the video, she also shared some of her family's food-related holiday traditions. "We do a Christmas brunch, we do Christmas Eve, and my sisters and I, we do a turkey competition," she said. "Kim [Richards] makes great fudge, Kyle [Richards] makes fabulous mashed potatoes, and I think that my stuffing's really good...Nicky [Hilton Rothschild] is a good baker. Paris [Hilton] licks the bowl."
