Today, Kathy Hilton lives in a stunning Bel-Air house with an incredible backyard. However, for a nine-year period of time, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills newcomer and her family had a very different luxurious place to call home: the Walford Astoria.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Peacock and the Bravo App.

On Part 3 of the show's Season 11 reunion, a viewer wrote in to ask, "Kathy, what was it like raising kids in a hotel when you lived at the Walford Astoria?" and Paris and Nicky Hilton's mom had great things to say about the experience. "It was very, very lovely," she recalled. "We loved being in close quarters under one roof, except when Paris would sneak out of the service elevator."

Kyle Richards also shared a memorable moment from one particular stay at the hotel. "One day I woke up, and we couldn't find [Kathy's son] Conrad [Hilton] and [my daughter] Alexia [Umansky]," she said. "And they were hiding in an air conditioning vent at the Waldorf Astoria."

Because of Kathy's last name, Andy Cohen explained to her, "Every time you mention, 'Hotel,' I kind of lean in." When the host went on to ask, "What is your relationship to Hilton Hotels?" Kathy explained her ties to the company: "My father-in-law and Rick's grandfather [Conrad Hilton, the founder of Hilton Hotels.]" However, Kathy noted, "Rick does not have anything to do with it at all."
