Check Out the Wild Staircase Trend Real Housewives Are Loving Right Now
When it comes to decorating their opulent homes, Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, and Braunwyn Windham-Burke are leaning in to their animal instincts.
While it's no secret that the Housewives have long loved animal print on their dresses, swimsuits, and accessories, some of the women have found a unique way to take the trend beyond the contents of their closets and into their home design.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Kyle Richards and Lisa Rinna and The Real Housewives of Orange County's Braunwyn Windham-Burke all have animal-print carpeting on their staircases at home, adding an eye-catching touch to their already stunning abodes.
Leopard print is seen in multiple places throughout Lisa's home, but is most prominently featured on her staircase, as seen in a recent Instagram Story. Clearly a fan of the pattern, Lisa also has leopard-print accent pillows in her gym and has topped a cozy chair in her living room with a leopard-print throw and pillow.
When Braunwyn moved into her new house earlier this year, she added a bold touch to her staircase with a zebra-print runner.
Kyle's daughter Alexia Umansky showed off new carpeting on the staircase at their Encino home in August. "Not to be dramatic...but I've been waiting for you my whole life," she wrote on Instagram at the time. "Cheetah print carpet." In addition to the carpet, Kyle also has a leopard-print ottoman in her den.
While The Real Housewives of Dallas' Kameron Westcott and The Real Housewives of New Jersey 's Margaret Josephs haven't adorned their staircases with animal-print carpeting (yet!), both are fans of incorporating the trend into their home décor. Margaret showed off her leopard-print desk chair that perfectly matched her pants two years ago, quipping, "A leopard never changes her spots." Kameron, meanwhile, frequently shared social media snaps of the vibrant home she recently sold, which boasted an office with pink zebra-print chairs as well as a family room decorated with leopard-print ottomans and pillows.
