There's Been a Major Plot Twist in the Saga of Kyle Richards' Missing Ring

The 75-year-old woman who was thought to be wearing Kyle's missing ring in Diane Keaton's photo is telling her side of the story.

Kyle Richards Stolen Ring

A 75-year-old woman who was thought to have Kyle Richards' stolen ring is telling her side of the story. In The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 10 "Secret Revealed" episode, Kyle shared that after her house was burglarized in 2017— and items including her mother's heirloom ring were stolen — she thought she spotted her ring in a photo that Diane Keaton posted to Instagram in 2019.

After enlisting a mutual connection to ask Keaton for more information on the pic — which featured a woman's hand with long, black nails and a ring that looked exactly like the one she was missing — Kyle got more details. Keaton claimed she had spotted the photogenic hands on a psychic she'd seen in Santa Monica.

But the woman who'd been labeled a psychic isn't a fortune-teller at all. Instead, Diana French is a former pharmacy clerk and she told Inside Edition that she's had the owl rings for decades. (She also still has her long, ebony nails.)

French's granddaughter, Maddie, even took to TikTok to share a photo of her grandmother wearing the ring years ago. Furthermore, French still has the ring's appraisal from 1980, and she showed Inside Edition more vintage family photos that picture her wearing the contested piece of jewelry.
