See Inside Sutton Stracke's Stunning Bel Air Mansion
The new Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member's opulent abode is filled with nods to her southern roots.
Although she's made the move from Augusta, Georgia, to Los Angeles, California, Sutton Stracke's home is full of mementos to honor her southern roots.
In the video above, the new The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member showed BravoTV.com around her expansive Bel Air mansion, and explained the deeper meaning behind much of her decor.
To start, Sutton showed what she calls "the heart of the house," her living room, which is filled with work by Augusta's local artists. "It reminds me of home," she said in the video. "And it looks a little southern to me."
Anchoring Sutton's dining room is a wooden table from New Orleans in the 1800s that she has clearly developed a special connection to. "I truly think that this wood speaks to me," she said. "And brings out my southern vibes." The table, she explained, is where she hosts big dinners for holidays including Christmas and Thanksgiving.
Just steps away from the dining room is the kitchen, which features neutral accents throughout. Sutton explained that her kids tend to do their homework at the white kitchen table, which is surrounded by matching upholstered chairs.
Her stunning master bedroom, meanwhile, has white walls kept bare save for one with a large piece of artwork and another with a mounted television. "This room is my quiet place," she explained, noting that she likes to unwind by watching TV from her bed, which is topped with crisp white bedding and bright pink pillows. "That's my favorite pastime."
The home's exterior is equally as luxe as the inside. Sutton showed the family's outdoor area, featuring a sizable brick-and-tile lined pool. "My kids love it here,"she explained. "It's where we decompress on the weekends."
