Sutton Stracke Has Her First Cocktail of the Day at 10 A.M.: "Then I'm Nicer"

Sometimes, a lady needs a drink — and that time is not always 5 p.m. During a recent podcast interview, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills rookie Sutton Stracke revealed the surprising time of day that she pours her first Piscine. And let's just say this: At the legendary hostess' house, cocktail hour starts early. 

"I have a drinking regimen that I do," Sutton revealed, when pressed about her drinking habits on Behind the Velvet Rope. "At around 10 [a.m.], I think that's OK for your first cocktail of the day. And then ... I try to ... it's just consistency through the day. Then I'm nicer."

She added: "You know what they say: When you monitor what time you're allowed to drink, that means you have a drinking problem. Why can't you have a drink at 10? What makes 5 o'clock so special? Give 10 a.m. the love, too! ... Just have it. Don't deny yourself right now, no."

So, what's the Georgia native pouring these days? As we saw on the RHOBH Season 10 premiere, she sometimes craves champagne with a dash of ice. "[It's called] La Piscine, which is a real thing in France — and it keeps you hydrated because the ice is in there," she said. "If I drink champagne I always have it with an ice cube, and maybe sometimes a splash of vodka. But I really love vodka-grapefruit, that's my go-to drink. Or vodka-lemonade. Those two."

And while she passes the time in self-quarantine, Sutton's totally prepared to follow her regime. Her Bel Air mansion, she said, currently looks "like the liquor aisle. Pasta, and wine, some mixers— important. Those are the essential things."
