It's hard to envision Sutton Stracke with anything other than her signature blonde hair and bangs. “My side-sweep bang has been my look for a very long time,” The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member shared with Bravo Insider. However, Sutton didn't always look this way, and now we have photo proof.

How to Watch

Sutton recently dug up some old photos from her personal stash and shared them exclusively with Bravo Insider. What we learned: Sutton has rocked many different (and surprising) hairstyles throughout her life, including a much darker hair color for a number of years. The boutique owner opened up about her beauty evolution and how being on the show has changed her look yet again.

The Georgia-born beauty, who revealed in RHOBH Season 10 that her tresses are naturally curly, put those voluminous curls on display in her childhood school photos. In one of the snaps, Sutton looked beyond adorable with her sandy blonde hair styled into a layered bob with — you guessed it — side-swept bangs. In another, her shoulder-grazing locks were brushed out into sweet waves and styled in a half updo.

In later years, Sutton experimented with darker and shorter hairstyles, including bouncy, shoulder-length brunette curls and curly bangs. One snap showed the Augusta native, who officially entered society at a debutante ball at the age of 18, looking beyond glamorous with side-swept chocolate hair styled into soft, effortless waves (and her gorgeous freckles on full display).

Sutton’s most dramatic departure from the look we’ve come to know her with today: a shiny blunt bob with a center part and flipped ends.

You may want to take a good look at these pictures because that'll probably be the last time you see Sutton as a brunette. After sporting dark strands for so many years, Sutton said her future is clear: “I am forever blonde.” Still, her time on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has inspired her to experiment with styling — and opened her up to audience feedback. Last year, Sutton caused a buzz when she cut her hair and got blunt bangs. Sutton said viewers "hated" her new fringe, but as a "fashion person," she thought they "looked cool." She joked, "Do y'all not know The Velvet Underground?"

Rhobh Season 11 Sutton Stracke Before They Were

For RHOBH Season 11, Sutton’s tresses went bigger and longer, thanks to some advice from seasoned cast member Erika Girardi. "Erika told me, at the very end of last season... 'You're going to hate the shape of your head,’” the mom recalled. "I didn't know what she meant, but after watching the season, I got it." Erika’s suggestion was a tried-and-true Housewife trick: “You add hair” in the form of extensions.

Since then, Sutton has been playing with different looks like braids and updos and adding hair pieces into the mix. “It’s fun to add all of this hair, and hairstylists are amazing. They can do all these fun tricks,” she said. "I'm not like Dorit [Kemsley] is," Sutton explained, referring to her castmate’s famously extravagant 'dos, “but I like to put a little Sutton twist on it."

One such twist came this season, for a dinner party at Kathy Hilton's house. Sutton was inspired by her past as a dancer and wanted to try a "New York City ballet bun." So, she described her vision to her hairstylist, who came up with a chic interpretation of the style. “I thought it came across pretty cute,” Sutton recalled before adding, “We'll see how it turns out on TV.”
