Teddi Opens up About All Her Postpartum Fitness & Botox Plans

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mom recently touched on postpartum depression, cosmetic procedures, and her exercise routine.

Mom of three Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave is practically an open book when it comes to balancing the realities of pre-and-postpartum life. Not only did The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills beauty keep fans posted on her third pregnancy every step of the way, but she's also been candid about how she is recovering from giving birth. Recently, during a rare moment alone, Teddi fielded a myriad of follower questions about everything from her new exercise routine to her plans for Botox — and her answers may just surprise you.

On March 4, Teddi cozied up to her Instagram Stories, where she answered all the burning questions fans had about her new mom for the third time life. In typical Teddi fashion, her responses were honest, refreshing, and totally relatable. 

When asked about her plans to revive her early morning workouts, Teddi replied, "I'm not sure. I'm not there yet in the planning stages. I've got to just feel it out." But she is, in fact, taking a few long walks with the help of friends like Kyle Richards.

"I'm already walking, I think, because I worked out until the day that she was born. I mean, I worked out the morning she was born. So I think my body is just used to it. This was not the case with the other kids."

As for battling common issues like postpartum depression, Teddi confessed, "Postpartum this time around is completely different. With Slate I had really bad postpartum anxiety and even some depression. And then with Cruz, he was immediately in the NICU so I was going back and forth, back and forth."

Did she poop the table (yes, it happens)? "Pleased to say I did not. When Edwin stepped away with Dove, I looked at my doctor and was like, 'Did I go?' and he was like, 'No.' 'Cause Ed was down there, like, delivering."

And what about her fitness routine? "The plan was I was just going to walk flat," she explained.  "But then I walked flat for two days and I felt really good. So I called my doctor and I was like, 'If I don't actually carry Dove can I do some hills?' and he was like, 'OK, Teddi.'" 

And if you're wondering if she's already had a bit of lip filler shortly after giving birth, Teddi has an answer for her suddenly lush lips. "These old shaped things? These are not plump. This is pregnancy plumping. I will be getting Botox and lasers and all kinds of things whenever I'm allowed... but right now, nada."
