Teddi's Dad, John Mellencamp, Had the Funniest Reaction to Her New Pink hair
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mama has a new colorful 'do, and her father doesn't seem to be on board with it just yet.
In case you missed it, Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave is rocking a head full of gorgeous pink locks. After adding some pastel pink highlights to her hair in May, a few months after the birth of her 7-month-old daughter, Dove, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mama has now gone totally pink, and looks absolutely fabulous.
“After having a baby, I always do something drastic with my hair. This time, I thought pink!” Teddi explained the first time she dyed her blonde hair a rosy hue. At the time, her new hairstyle was met with some mixed criticism; while her husband, Edwin, said it looked “hawt,” her son, Cruz, felt that it looked a little “crazy.”
Teddi originally unveiled the new look in a July 14 Instagram Story, but we got an even better look at it a few days later, when Kyle Richards shared a photo of the Beverly Hills crew “when the wigs and the gloves come off.” In the picture, Teddi’s holding a handful of bold, pink hair extensions.
It looks like Teddi’s father, John Mellencamp, was a bit confused by his daughter’s new ‘do. The accountability coach shared a screenshot of a text message he sent her after she had taken the group photo, in which he asked, “Do you have pink hair?” When Teddi confirmed her new colorful look, Mellencamp replied, “That’s a halloween costume.”
Teddi sent her father the group photo to show him what her hair looks like sans extensions, and he responded, “And you’re the one that told me don’t dance on the stage dad, it’s embarrassing.” Teddi doubled down on her advice, adding, “Best advice I have given.”
For what it’s worth, Teddi is fully rocking this pink hairstyle.
