Yolanda Hadid Breaks Down Self-Isolating with Her Family on Her Farm Amid COVID-19

Yolanda Hadid is self-quarantining at her Pennsylvania farm with daughters Gigi and Bella. And though times are unusual and scary, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum is trying to make the most of her downtime.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Peacock and the Bravo App.

"Self-isolation time has been interesting," the horse-lover tells BravoTV.com in the video above. "It's a time to really look within, and you get to spend so much time with yourself and your children." She goes on to call this new reality: "An extraordinary moment for people and the world to come together as one." Indeed, we've seen Yolanda use her crystal-flecked meditation garden to join in on a global prayer for healing.

"It's also been great that it's been a time to spend more time with my children, and family-time that we really haven't had for the past five years," the model mama adds. Gigi, who recently confirmed her first pregnancy, spent her 25th birthday at the farm. As we saw on Instagram, her cozy birthday celebration included a bagel-shaped cake and plenty of time with her loved ones.

The farm owner is also slowing down to enjoy nature more. "I've gone through the seasons with the trees, and saw the blossoms coming in and going," Yolanda says. "For that, it's been incredible." She adds: "We're just preparing the orders for all the little vegetable plants, and we'll be planting in the next two weeks. We're gonna have everything from onions to potatoes, to different kinds of salads, cucumbers, hot peppers — you name it, we're gonna grow it."

And in her kitchen, "I've been cooking up a storm," the mama model says. "Actually, the truth is that I've never enjoyed cooking, and I think that the slow pace of life has really taught me to just think about what I want to prepare, how to prepare it, I look things up, I make different recipes every day, and everybody seems to enjoy it."

She adds that she's been preparing some type of potato almost every day. Beyond that, "we're enjoying just eating healthy at this point," she says. Watch the clip above to hear more about Yolanda's self-quarantined life on the farm.
