Lisa Vanderpump Explains Why Her Soon-to-Open Vegas Hotspot Will Have a Tom Tom Vibe

Lisa Vanderpump is expanding her restaurant empire beyond Los Angeles: The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills restaurateur is set to open Vanderpump Cocktail Garden on the Las Vegas strip early this year.
"That’s going to be great," Lisa told The Feast. "It's already starting to take shape, so that’s very exciting. We’re going to be right at the entrance to the Forum Shops in Caesars Palace. Caesars came to us and said, 'We would love to have you.' And it’s such a compliment, so I was just like — yeah, why not! I love Vegas so it’s going to be an exciting restaurant for us."
So, how will the new Vegas place compare to the existing Los Angeles restaurants in Lisa's empire? "Vegas is just going to be a wonderful oasis in the middle of the mall," she explained. "You’re going to see these big trees. [Designer] Nick Alain is doing a lot of the work, who worked on Tom Tom. So you’ll see wonderful light fixtures and things like that."
So how would Lisa describe her restaurants' aesthetic overall? "Some of it is eclectic, I would say. If you go into Pump, it’s all about hundred-year-old olive trees. Tom Tom has got incredible pieces — almost like [a] romantic industrial [aesthetic]. Villa Blanca is a little more European. SUR is very eclectic again."
Although the newest Vanderpump spot will fall "under the Caesars umbrella, so they keep an eye on a lot of things," Lisa told The Feast, diners can still expect a vibe that is very Vanderpump. "Fundamentally everything will come from us," she told us. "The design aesthetic, the menus. We're working on all of that now."
And we can't wait!
