Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave Shares Her Tips For Perfect Portion Control: "Most of Us Get it Wrong"

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fitness buff shares how to stay accountable when tracking portions. 

As a professional accountability coach, Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave guides her clients to become the best, healthiest versions of themselves. Just take a peek at her Instagram feed, where she frequently posts stories of her clients' inspirational body transformations. And even if you can't sign up for one-on-one sessions with Teddi, her feed provides some of the health-geared pearls of wisdom that she shares with those who sign up for her program. 

On July 16, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills pal shared a tip for something tons of people struggle with  (especially when there's cake involved). "Portions are where most of us get it wrong," she wrote. "The hand test is a good one." She then showed a photo of her lunch — a healthy blend of brown rice, veggies, and avocado — with her hand laid out next to it. Lo and behold, her meal was perfectly hand-sized. She also shared a few more healthy eating tips, below.
