Caroline Stanbury Reveals How Moving to Dubai Made Her an “Utterly Different Person”
The Real Housewives of Dubai cast member detailed the ways that her move to Dubai “changed [her] life.”
Caroline Stanbury’s life in Dubai isn’t quite going the way she initially planned, but The Real Housewives of Dubai cast member is thrilled with the person she has become since making the big move.
“I moved to Dubai nearly seven years ago with my ex-husband, my three kids, set up my home, my business, and my life, and then ended up getting a divorce nearly five and a half years later,” Caroline explained on the show’s Season 1 premiere on June 1. “But since I moved here and changed my life, I’m an utterly different person. I’m much freer, so much more fun. I’m softer.”
In summary, the Ladies of London alum declared: “I feel like the cat that got the f--king cream.”
Earlier in the episode, Caroline shared one particularly exciting aspect of her life in Dubai. “I love the opportunities I have here, because, you know, in America I’m one of a million,” she said. “Here, I’m one of one.”
Back in 2017, Caroline opened up to BravoTV.com about adjusting to the new city. “The move’s much easier than I thought, to be honest, because I never even lived in Dubai longer than a week’s holiday in the Four Seasons. So I had no idea really what I was entering,” she said at the time. “It’s been a ball. I like it so much more than I ever thought I would. Just waking up with sun makes a huge difference. The children are so happy here.”
