Alexia's Rudeness Knows No Bounds

Karent doesn't understand why Alexia felt the need to insult her.

By Karent Sierra

Hello everyone,

As most of you know, I have been stuck in NY after I came up to film WWHL with Andy Cohen and Joanna. My prayers and thoughts go out to those people and families whose lives have been devastated by this storm. I feel so helpless being up here and not being able to do anything. The city for the most part in lower Manhattan is shut down, including subways and tunnels. It is heartbreaking to see what has taken years to build can be destroyed in a matter of minutes. This is a continued lesson for me that we must appreciate everything we have and be grateful for so many blessings.

My prayers continue to go out to everyone affected by Hurricane Sandy. I had the opportunity to walk around lower Manhattan, and it looks like a ghost town. A city so full of life and right now it is so desolate. The only thing in my power was to offer some money and an ear to listen to those I encountered on the street. I know it’s not much, but it's all I could do for the moment. I met some amazing people with positive energy and full of faith that everything will be alright. If we can't learn from these people, we can't learn from anybody. The few people I spoke to were such an inspiration. I will never forget them. Continued prayers to all.

Now on to the episode.

I must say I didn't have the pleasure of meeting Mr. Norman Baker. He seems like a very interesting character, to say the least. I had found out about Lea's gathering at her house a day before and unfortunately had a full day of patients scheduled in my office, so I was unable to attend.Lea's hard work and dedication to her charity is very admirable and hopefully inspires others to give back in any way they can.

Adriana said that she was being "ganged up on" by Joanna, Romain, and me. Seriously? Were we watching the same show?

Seeing Lea with her dog, Leroy, broke my heart. Our pets truly become family members, and I could feel her pain as I too have lost a dog and know first hand how that feels.

Lea's Poor Doggy Emergency

Before leaving Joanna's house to head for Lea's gala and throughout the gala, Joanna kept telling me that she really wasn't in the mood to stay for very long. I completely understood after the night she had with Adriana and since Romain did not go with her to the gala. I am impressed that she mustered enough strength quite frankly to still go and show her support for Lea's cause. Towards the end of the night, I walked over to Joanna to check up on her and to see how she was feeling and if she was ready to go, and of course once again Alexia's rudeness and meanness knows no boundaries. She started sounding off with insults, which is the only way I suppose to make her feel better about herself.

All I can say, is I am very happy for Lea, because the party was a true success in raising money to help out the youth.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on Twitter @karentsierra.

God bless you all!
