Larsa Pippen Explains Her Unique Holiday Tradition & Why She’s Celebrating in L.A. This Year
The Real Housewives of Miami cast member shared details on how she will spend the upcoming holiday — including who she will be celebrating with in Los Angeles.
The December holiday season is upon us, and to celebrate, Larsa Pippen is packing her bags for the West Coast. “I’m gonna be spending Christmas with my kids, my sister, [and] my family in L.A.,” The Real Housewives of Miami cast member recently told BravoTV.com.
This year, Larsa and her loved ones will continue some of their sweet annual traditions. “We open presents [on] Christmas Eve,” she shared. “We make a big feast [on] Christmas Eve, and the next day we wake up and just watch movies. We just hang out… play card games.”
“I kind of like making a turkey for Christmas,” she continued. “I like making a turkey, stuffing, like a whole big dinner,” she noted, adding that the unique tradition is “kind of” like celebrating Thanksgiving on Christmas.
As you can see in the video above, Larsa recently got settled in a new Miami home, but making the move to a penthouse apartment “hasn’t changed” much for Larsa in terms of the holiday season. “I feel like it’s the same,” she said. “I still have a really nice Christmas tree. It’s fun.”
One thing that is different this year is her approach to decorating the tree. “I feel like my Christmas trees change every year,” she explained. “So last year I opted for, like… I wanted a 15-foot, gorgeous, high, you know, just like a lot of decorative stuff. A lot of lights. And this year, I just wanted just a lot of pretty lights.”
“Didn’t put any ornaments on this year,” she said. “I wanted it to be more simple.”
