Lisa Hochstein Reveals Why She Kept Her Engagement Ring: "It Doesn't Even Mean Anything"
The Real Housewives of Miami's Lisa Hochstein may not wear her engagement ring often after the split, but she still wants it.
When Season 5 of The Real Housewives of Miami ended, Lisa Hochstein's marriage had fallen apart with her husband of nearly 13 years, Dr. Lenny Hochstein. It was a hard time for Lisa, especially as Lenny moved on quickly to another engagement with someone else. But that doesn't mean Lisa is wallowing.
Instead, as seen in the RHOM Season 6 premiere episode, Lisa is learning to love again, and she seems eager to put the past behind her — except for one thing: her engagement ring.
Why Lisa Hochstein Kept Her Engagement Ring
Lisa has officially moved on, and is now dating fellow Canadian Jody Glidden, a Harvard graduate and successful tech entrepreneur who understands firsthand the difficulties of divorcing and being a single dad. As seen in Season 6, Episode 1, the two are a loving couple, and Larsa is over the moon about her new relationship. However, she is holding onto one relic from her marriage.
During an afternoon yacht excursion in the Miami harbor with Larsa Pippen and her new beau, Marcus Jordan (who you may know better as Michael Jordan’s son), Lisa opened up about why she still wears her engagement ring.
"[Jody] doesn’t like me wearing it, but I resized it for my middle finger, so I could be like that!” as she demonstrated giving “the finger” to an imaginary Lenny.

It's not just about the joke potential, though.
“But it doesn’t even mean anything to me. Who cares? It’s a nice piece of jewelry,” she said.
Lisa also expanded on her current status with Lenny, revealing that she and Lenny were still not officially divorced after a year. “It’s getting uglier by the day ... ” she said.
However, over lunch on the yacht, Larsa offered to go house-shopping with Lisa to help nudge things along.
Despite the slow-going split, Lisa is in a good head space. Aside from the diamonds, Lisa said the one good thing that came out of the divorce was her relationship with Jody.
“Jody is such an incredible person … I don’t think I’ve ever had someone look at me the way he does ever or love me this way," she said.
Although Lenny and Lisa both seem to be moving on, their contentious divorce battle continues and is sure to play out in the upcoming season 6 of Real Housewives of Miami, airing Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo and available streaming the next day on Peacock.
