Nicole Martin Shows Off Her "Healthy Skin" in a Glowing Makeup-Free Selfie
The Real Housewives of Miami cast member opened up about the "big improvement" she has noticed in her skin after struggling with sunspots, "hyperpigmentation and melasma for years."
Dr. Nicole Martin just proved she doesn't need any glam to glow. The Real Housewives of Miami cast member recently took to Instagram to share a make-up-free selfie, and of course, she was absolutely radiant. In the March 22 post, Nicole opened up about her "Tuesday thoughts" regarding "imperfections."
"We all have [imperfections]," she wrote. "Makeup and Filters are fun, but don’t be fooled. Everyone has flaws and insecurities. I’ve struggled with [sunspots], hyperpigmentation and melasma for years. With a consistent [skincare] routine and skin protection, I’ve seen a big improvement. The goal isn’t perfect skin, it’s healthy skin! It all starts with [SPF]."
Nicole went on to share the skincare products she uses for sun protection. She noted her "favorite sunscreen" is the VI Peel & VI Derm Beauty SPF 50 Daily UV Defense Broad Spectrum Sunscreen ($40), which is made with a hydrating and lightweight formula that shields skin from UV light. Nicole's must-have tinted moisturizer is the Alastin Skincare HydraTint Pro Mineral Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 36 ($60), which is said to provide broad-spectrum UVA/UVB sun protection as well as even and brighten skin. She also highlighted her preferred SPF for when she's "on the go:" Colorscience's Sunforgettable Total Protection Brush-On Shield ($52).
Nicole's beauty recommendations don't stop at skincare: She also revealed her makeup go-to's in a February 4 Instagram. To achieve "that glow finish," Nicole mixes the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Longwear Foundation ($44) with the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter ($44). She also relies on Tarte Cosmetics' Shape Tape Concealer ($30), which offers full coverage. In terms of bronzer and blush, Nicole opts for the Patrick Ta Major Sculpt Creme Contour & Powder ($38) and PAT McGRATH LABS Skin Fetish Blush in the Divine Powder shade ($38).
