Jennifer Aydin Brought Her 5 Kids to Say Goodbye to Her Childhood Home
The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom shared a bittersweet moment with her family.
First listed in March of this year, Jennifer Aydin's childhood home in Plainview, Long Island has been for sale for several months. But now the house, which is listed for $799,000, has an offer pending, and with her parents moving out, Jen brought her five children to Long Island to bid farewell to the very special place.
"Leaving the house I grew up in is #bittersweet," The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom wrote in an Instagram post. "I’ll miss the Long Island visits to 'nanashouse' and showing my kids places I hung out at and teaching them about all the fun Long Island has to offer. But my parents are getting older and the kids want to stay near their friends and are less willing to endure the traffic. It’s been a long time coming and even though the time has come, it’s hard not to feel sad that we will never stay at this house again. But we will always have the memories."
"It’s the ending of one chapter... but the start of a whole new fresh one," she wrote in another Instagram post.
She was a bit more matter-of-fact in some quick video clips she posted to her Instagram Stories.
"Moving day, folks," she said. "Let's get the hell out of here!"
While Jennifer may be the Queen of Thrones in her opulent home, she spent her childhood in a more modest setting — check out the room she shared with her sister growing up!
The family will no doubt cherish the many memories made here and keep it in their hearts as they make new ones with their grandparents close by. That's right: If we're understanding her hashtag correctly — #myparentsaremovongtoJersey — Jen's parents will now be much closer to their daughter's large family. How lucky for all the Aydins!
