Danielle Staub's Daughter Christine Makes a Strong Case for Bringing Back Crimped Hair
The Real Housewives of New Jersey daughter brought fresh life to an old-school look.
Crimped hair ruled the mid '80s and early '90s. And from the looks of things, it's poised to make a strong comeback in 2018. Exhibit A: Danielle Staub's trend-setting daughter Christine Staub. The model recently worked with hairstylist Julius Michael and makeup artist Priscilla DiStasio to get an ethereal, beachy, mermaid-inspired look — and she didn't escape the salon chair without a few crimps.
"Uh, let's go to the beach," Michael wrote, to caption a post of the seaside-inspired look. He added that The Real Housewives of New Jersey daughter's coif was created using a mini crimper, which he applied in "random" sections. He also used a curling iron for "big loose curls," and added a textured, seabreeze-blown look with plenty of texture cream from Seven haircare.
"WHO doesn't love the '80s," he asked, adding that "[crimped hair] is [hot.]" These photos are irrefutable proof of that!
Christine's makeup, too, had some under-the-sea inspiration. Frosting her eyes, pearly pink shadow looked like the inside of a seashell; her skin was left dewy, glowing, and just slightly sun-kissed. This look certainly made a splash — wouldn't you say? Look out, Daryl Hannah!
