If you haven't been keeping up with the developments in Jennifer Aydin's recent tummy tuck, allow us to provide a refresher. After five kids and a dramatic weight loss, The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member decided to employ her plastic surgeon husband once more for a tummy tuck to help her regain her "snatched" waist. Jennifer has diligently kept followers up to date about the realities of life after surgery, opening up with every graphic detail from her first shuffles post-op to finally being able to poop. And now, Jennifer is updating fans on exactly why she has been so short of breath in many of her videos.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo and stream next day on Peacock.

On November 25, Jennifer posted a clip in which she explained that part of her recovery would include dealing with a general shortness of breath. "If you're wondering why I have shortness of breath, it's because Bill stitched up my diastasis ... I know some of you guys are worried about me. Some of you guys have been hating on me for being so honest. But, you know, I feel like this is something a lot of women struggle with and contemplate with about getting a tummy tuck. And it was scary for me to bite the bullet."

And in her most recent post, she shared an illustrated video that outlines exactly what happens during a routine tummy tuck and why that can lead to her current condition. "This is why I have shortness of breath," she says in her caption. "Here’s a short simulation of what exactly a tummy tuck is- watch how they stitch the muscles tight to repair the damage from pregnancies. Hope this explains a lot to people who are thinking about it."

Keep the updates coming, Jennifer.
