A Teresa and Joe Game Changer - Ep 8
Bravotv.com's Associate Producer really didn't see this one coming.
Yes! Let the healing begin, because all this fighting was giving me a lot of anxiety. Hopefully now I won't have to start my Gorga-Giudice feud support group to help people cope. In any event, let's look back at the memorable moments that led to what appears to be the deepest breakthrough in RHONJ history.
No. 3 - In Which We Learn Teresa Cannot Wink
That poor, poor attendant. It looked to me like he's a big fan of the show and then somehow found himself delivering champagne to Joe and Teresa in the bathroom while they're naked in the tub. How do you react to this? What do you do when the people you've seen on TV are suddenly in at your place of business in a state of semi-undress? Evidently by grinning sheepishly, pouring the champagne, and running out of there in a bewildered daze.
In other news, Teresa cannot wink, as we learned when she attempted to do so in conjunction with her "bow chicka wow wow" thing. What better way to ease all these flaring tempers than by getting frisky in the soothing waters of a Lake George inn's bath? If that doesn't calm Joe down, nothing will.
Dr. V is one tough lady. She knows how to handle just about anyone, and shut Joe Gorga's surliness right down (and that's not easy to do with this crowd). And when she sat down one-on-one with him to talk she got right down to business and revealed her compelling theory that maybe Teresa's been coming from a mixed up place of trying to protect him that led to her issues with Melissa. Hmmm, I have to say I am maybe convinced.
But that this leads me to another question: Is Dr. V a big RHONJ fan? Because how else would she already have such a good grasp on the situation? She must be, and this makes me like her even more obviously.
That tearful moment between Teresa and Joe really catches you by surprise! One minute Joe is saying he's not ready to move on yet and needs time, the next he and Teresa are embracing and sobbing. All I can say is where has Dr. V been for the past few seasons, because she must have the magic touch.
And how moved were you? I think the world let out a sigh of relief or just screamed, "Yes, finally!" especially after how tense the past few episodes have been. It makes you want to go spend some one-on-one time with your siblings, that's for sure.
I'm going to go grab some tissues now, excuse me.
