Jackie Goldschneider: I Felt Bad For Margaret — Who Was Clearly Embarrassed
"...every party has a pooper (pun intended) and that pooper was Jennifer."
That was definitely one of the funniest hours of reality TV I’ve ever seen in my life! Send a bunch of Jersey girls to Oklahoma and you’ll get enough ridiculousness to fill the biggest house in Paramus, New Jersey! Just sayin’...
I’m glad Teresa and Melissa smoothed out their issues enough for us to enjoy the rest of the trip — and to play two truths and a lie! I’m shocked that Jan ever locked Margaret in a closet! I’m with Dolores on that one — if a man ever did that to me he’d have to sleep with one eye open. And the bag checks? Not cool, Jennifer. Do a background check, girlfriend. If you’re randomly inspecting people’s bags, I’m not sure how you trust them with your children. But I’m not shocked that Jennifer pooped her pants in a car. When you have 16 bathrooms at home you get used to going the moment the impulse strikes! Her butt was like, "Whaddya mean I have to wait?"
The cow grooming contest was so much fun! And I’m not just saying that because I won. I could’ve done without the cows randomly sh*tting everywhere, but it was great, nonetheless. Jennifer was a good sport and cheered for me louder than anyone in the crowd.
I felt bad watching Joe with his dad. He’s clearly a caring son, loving son-in-law and amazing husband and father. I can’t imagine how hard it is to juggle all of that and still be told you’re not doing enough, especially in front of the whole world. It’s even harder when your own sister is shouting about it behind your back. I just hope their family can work it out in a way that makes everyone happy. Family is everything. That’s one thing us Jersey girls know for sure.
On our last night in Oklahoma, Polly threw us a huge party. That hoedown was a blast! If you haven’t figured it out, I’m gonna have a good time no matter where you put me... it's a (wine) glass half full sorta’ thing, ya know? So, I danced with cowboys, ate some brisket and had me some fun! But every party has a pooper (pun intended) and that pooper was Jennifer. She just wasn’t feeling it, and the more she drank the more she let us know. By the end of the night, she was verbally unloading about her dissatisfaction. I felt bad for Margaret — who was clearly embarrassed — and Polly, who couldn’t have been a better host. I must say, Jennifer seemed to be genuinely apologetic when she was called out on it, but maybe she should try just not saying the offensive crap in the first place. Just a thought.
Leaving Oklahoma was bittersweet. I left much closer with all of the ladies (even Teresa) and Polly is definitely a friend for life, but I was excited to get back to my babies. Teresa and I even loaded up on sweatshirts and junk for our kids at the airport! But if there’s one thing this trip showed me, it’s that you can take the girls out of Jersey, but you definitely can’t take the Jersey out of the girls.
And for those of you who watched the previews of next week’s episode, I say grab your popcorn and take a seat. I’m jumping in headfirst.
