Caroline Manzo's Home Was Dripping with Flowers for Her 60th Birthday Bash
The RHONJ alum's house underwent a jaw-dropping botanical transformation for her 60th birthday.
On August 22, every detail of Caroline Manzo's birthday bash was perfectly in place. There was breathtaking decor, mouthwatering food, and beautiful drinks. However, when Lauren Manzo Scalia took to Instagram Stories to show off the setup, one important thing was missing: guests.
"When [Caroline's] 60th [birthday] party gets [canceled because] of the hurricane but you still have all the decor," Lauren captioned the video. "Fanciest Sunday dinner ever."
Eventually, some guests (including Dolores Catania) did arrive for the botanical-themed party. As seen in Lauren and Dolores' social media clips, the fete had gorgeous balloon displays, as well as flowers within nearly every detail of the decor. One particularly gorgeous area was the "boozy botanical bar" placed in front of an eye-catching wall of greenery adorned with butterflies. Guests enjoyed what Lauren described as "the prettiest drinks," including the specialty cocktail of the day, The Caroline: a lychee lavender martini.
In keeping with the party's theme, Caroline's two-tier white cake featured several different types of flowers and butterflies. "We got a naked cake and forgot to save flowers for it," Lauren admitted. "[Joseph Wakile] brought my mom flowers so we tore it apart & used it for the cake. Decoration by [Jaime Laurita]."
Caroline's granddaughter Markie also got her own cake for the party. "Markie is [four-and-a-half] & asked for a barbie cake so we [got] her half a cake," Lauren captioned a photo of the stunning pink confection from Cakes on Valley.
