Real Housewives are renowned for their interview looks and their show-stopping reunion fashion. But they've also been known to put a stylish spin on horse races. We've seen Cynthia Bailey rock a leopard-print dress with an incredible starburst hat at The Kentucky Derby. For her take on Kentucky style, Bethenny Frankel once wore an elegant black fascinator. But on a recent weekend in June, Dolores Catania displayed how horse-race fashion is done out East.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member attended the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival in New York on June 5. For the event, Dolores wore the Macaw Bouquet Frill dress by Melissa Odabash. Covered in a gorgeous floral print, the frilly wrap dress had a plunging V-neckline and a tie around the waist. Made with sustainable fabric, the piece also had dainty ruffles fluttering on its hemline.
Dolores paired the look with a wide-brimmed straw hat with a pink band. She also wore hoop earrings and platform sandals with thick ankle straps. "Off to the races," she wrote in her caption. Among several Real Housewives to comment on the striking look was Margaret Josephs, who cleverly dubbed Dolores the: "Belmont Beauty!!!"
