Gia Giudice Explains Why She's "Very Upset About Selling [Her] Childhood Home"

Still to Come on The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 12...

Although Gia Giudice is now enjoying living in a new home with her sisters, Teresa Giudice, Luis "Louie" Ruelas, and his sons, she didn't initially have such positive thoughts about relocating.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14 premiere May 5th at 8/9c on Bravo and stream next day on Peacock.

"Moving's gonna be very sad," Gia told Teresa on The Real Housewives of New Jersey's March 29 episode. "It's not like we're like, 'Yay, we're so happy to leave!' Like, no."

In an interview during the episode, Gia opened up a bit more about her hesitation to move out of her family's longtime abode. "I'm very upset about selling my childhood home. That's the last thing of my dad [Joe Giudice] that we have physically in the United States," she said. "So the last piece of him is not gonna be ours anymore."

However, Teresa was optimistic that the move would be a good experience for her daughters and for herself. "Once you guys are in, I know you're gonna be so happy," she said to Gia during the episode. "And I'm ready for a new beginning with Louie."

Now that they're all settled in the nine-bedroom house, it seems Teresa was right. On the February 1 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the host asked Gia how she felt about the new living arrangement, and Gia declared, "Honestly, it's great."
