Gia Giudice Shows How Her Dad, Joe, Is “Always There” Even When He’s “Oceans” Away
The RHONJ daughter documented a recent sweet surprise from Joe Giudice.
Now that he lives in the Bahamas, Joe Giudice is a thousand miles away from his daughters in New Jersey. But even so, The Real Housewives of New Jersey dad has a sweet way of being a part of their celebrations in the Garden State.
In a recent Instagram post, Joe and Teresa Giudice’s eldest daughter, Gia Giudice, revealed how her father made his presence known at a recent “bed party” for Gabriella Giudice, who’s an incoming freshman at the University of Michigan.
Joe’s Gift for Gabriella
Gabriella’s “bed party,” as documented on her family’s Instagram Stories, included all kinds of festive decor to celebrate her college acceptance. The high school senior’s bed was decked with University of Michigan merch and thematic balloons. Proud big sister Gia shared photos from the festive day, including a snap of some items that Joe presumably had sent.
Gia’s pic shows a University of Michigan beach towel and bag, accompanied by a card. “Even from oceans apart our dad is always there,” Gia captioned the photo, adding two heart emojis.
Gia, who recently graduated from Rutgers University, added a congratulatory note for her little sister in her recent Instagram post. “Gabriella is off to the University of Michigan!!!” she wrote, using all caps to express her excitement.
Gabriella’s College Commitment
Back in January, Teresa and Joe both hopped onto Instagram to gush over their daughter’s acceptance to the prestigious school.
Teresa posted an Instagram Story that showed Gabriella reading her acceptance letter from the University of Michigan. The RHONJ OG later showed Gabriella holding blue and yellow star balloons and a bouquet of flowers. Gabriella showed some school spirit too, donning a University of Michigan T-shirt.
Meanwhile, Joe chimed in from the Bahamas. “I’m speechless,” he wrote on Instagram, captioning a video of his daughter touring the Michigan campus. “Congrats Gabriella.”
Though Gabriella was accepted to other schools as well, the University of Michigan ultimately won her heart.
By May 1, the high school senior had officially selected the school she would attend. In her Instagram Stories, Teresa revealed that Gabriella’s car had been decorated in honor of “college committed” day.
The University of Michigan–themed decorations included balloons, streamers, and flowers in the school’s colors. On the back of the car, Gabriella’s projected graduation year — 2027 — was written out and surrounded with hearts.
