See Inside Jackie Goldschneider's Favorite "Over-the-Top Sparkly" Room at Home
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member gave us a tour of the room with the "most phenomenal" wallpaper.
When it came to designing her now-favorite room in her New Jersey home, Jackie Goldschneider wasn't exactly looking to compromise with her husband, Evan Goldschneider. "I told my husband, 'I know you don't like over-the-top sparkly, I'm making this room over-the-top sparkly,'" The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member recalled to BravoTV.com in the video above. "I said, 'I want everything in there to be like Hollywood glam.'"
The space, that Jackie and her family dubbed "the piano room" or "the sparkly room," features "the most phenomenal" silver sparkly wallpaper. "It is just, like, in your face, the first thing you see when you walk into my house," Jackie said. "I would do the whole house in that, but Evan would probably leave and live somewhere else."
Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Jackie and Evan's daughter has taken over the space. "Right now, the room is Alexis' office," Jackie explained. "All my kids are home schooling, so they each have their own place in the house."
Pre-pandemic, "Evan and I would sit in here and talk," Jackie said. "Or Evan would sit in here alone and read." Now, the couple is finding great ways to utilize the room when it's not occupied by Alexis. "Evan and I escape here sometimes," she said. "If they kids are all in the great room, we'll come in here and we'll have a drink or we'll sit on the couch and no one really comes in here to bother us."
