In Season 9 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Jennifer Aydin introduced us to her brother's business, John Michaels Jewelry, in Woodbury, Long Island. The mother of five spent plenty of time at the family store and has even purchased dazzling gifts for fellow 'Wives from the store. Unfortunately, on May 21, Jennifer shared a sad update about the business.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14 premiere May 5th at 8/9c on Bravo and stream next day on Peacock.

"So, I'm at my brother's jewelry store today because unfortunately, we are closing our doors, and I came to see if there was any help I can give out," she shared on Instagram Stories. In a series of clips, Jennifer shared a look at the store's now empty shelves and showcases while she and her family packed up what was left. "If we do open a new jewelry store one day, God willing, it'll be all brand new, right," she told daughter Olivia. She added, "If you're opening a jewelry store in Woodbury, Long Island, I got a hook up for ya. You can even keep the displays and the showcases — we are leaving all this stuff behind."

Jennifer's family has deep ties to the jewelry industry. Before her brother opened John Michaels Jewelry in 2006, her dad owned another jewelry store in Long Island, which was established in 1984. "My dad ventured into retail from manufacturing. It was Craft jewelry at the Tri-county jewelry exchange on Long Island," she captioned a throwback photo of herself and her brother at her dad's former business location.

Taking a trip down memory lane, Jennifer also shared several throwback photos from John Michaels Jewelry's early days. "We were so excited and hopeful for a successful family business," she wrote. She even shared a peek at her old business card from when she used to work there.

While it is the "end of an era," as Jennifer put it, the RHONJ cast member remains in positive spirits. After reminiscing, she shared a beer with her family and posted a video of the moment on IG. "Cheers!! To a new chapter!!" she wrote.
