Jennifer Aydin Shares Recovery Update Following "Small" Cosmetic Procedure
The RHONJ mom showed off the results just a day after the surgery.
Jennifer Aydin is in rest and recovery mode.
Ahead of Mother’s Day weekend, The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom underwent a “small” cosmetic procedure performed by her plastic surgeon husband, Bill Aydin. Jennifer shared the news in a series of May 12 Instagram Stories, where she provided details on the surgery and her recuperation process.
“Just checkin’ in. I had surgery yesterday. Nothing bad, just a small procedure, 'cause I guess I’ve lost a lot of weight, and I had some loose skin on my love handles,” she explained. “Bill, from Aydin Plastic Surgery, he cut off my loose skin that was [on] my love handles. This was all day yesterday, guys, so I wasn’t around.”
Jennifer then took a few moments to shout out her supporters: “I just wanna say I love, love, love my fans, how they go to bat for me. I know some people think the fan accounts are run by me, but I have no time nor the know-how on how to do that.”
The mother-of-five also confirmed she had excess skin removed from her chest area, where she developed a slight “bubble” following her weight loss and breast augmentation.
“You know I love to live my life transparently, and I’m very honest about all the plastic surgery or cosmetic procedures that I get, so I’m gonna show you,” she said in another Instagram Story before she stood up and removed her robe. “It’s not that bad… I’m wearing the garment. It is a compression garment and Bill basically took off a love handle here and a love handle here. I had excess skin; I have a picture of it, they look like chicken cutlets.”
Jennifer said she was no longer in pain but was experiencing some soreness the following morning. She confirmed there was no liposuction involved in her procedure and that she was awake the whole time, as it didn't require general anesthesia. She explained that Bill used a Sharpie to outline the areas that were eventually removed "and then took the skin from both sides and sewed it together."
"So that’s how he did it," she continued. "He tightened up my love handles so I can be snatched.”
The RHONJ cast member has been quite open about her plastic surgery experience, which has included a tummy tuck, nose job, and chin augmentation. She suggested her latest procedure was relatively straightforward and required very little downtime.
“So I’m just going to be taking it easy all day, relaxing, catching up on my Vanderpump Rules and any other thing that I haven’t had time [to do] because I’ve been super busy,” she said. “And as for recovery time, because people have been asking me, I feel like I’m going to be fine by Mother’s Day. I’m still gonna be wearing the compression garment, so I’m going to have to pick clothing accordingly."
