Jennifer Aydin Reveals the Most She Ever Paid for a Kid's Birthday Party
The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom, who is known for her over-the-top parties, shares exactly how much she shells out for a big event.
Jennifer Aydin has called herself a "one-upper." And when it comes to hosting kids' birthday parties, The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member does tend to go big. (Indeed, Jennifer herself has been saying that since Season 10 — just watch the clip above.)
So when the mother of five appeared on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on March 17, Andy had a question about her famously lavish fetes. "What's the most you've spent on one of your kid's birthday parties," he asked, after Jennifer quipped that she has no credit limit.
"Justin just turned 16; we got two penthouse suites at the Dream [Downtown] Hotel," Jennifer shared. "I was out about $15,000." As we saw, "Justin's Swag 16" in New York City also included a Palermo's birthday cake that was shaped like a boom box.
In the past, the mother of five also staged a pool party with a Chanel-themed cake for her daughter Gabriella's 13th birthday. And when her younger daughter Olivia turned 7, Jennifer rented out a private room so the little one and her friends could sing and dance their hearts out.
