Halloween arrived early in New Jersey this year, and Jennifer Aydin came prepared with an epic costume that merges her love of luxury fashion and an unforgettable pop culture moment.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom recently attended a costume bash dressed as none other than Jennifer Lopez in her iconic 2000 Grammy Awards Versace dress. (You know, the legendary dress that led to the invention of Google images and was revived for Versace's Spring 2020 fashion show.)
On October 22, Jennifer took to Instagram to share a peek at her J.Lo transformation. Jennifer's take on the legendary look featured a custom recreation of the dress detailed with gold Versace safety pins and an asymmetrical, waterfall skirt by fashion designer Antonio Estrada. She paired the ensemble with gold Versace hoop earrings and a matching face mask.
Jennifer also perfectly recreated the exact beauty look Lopez donned with the famous dress. Her hair was styled into a super voluminous half-updo with long waves, and she sported a bronzed and glowing complexion paired with a nude lip.
"Thank you to everybody who got me ready," she shared on Instagram, shouting out Estrada, hairstylist Ashley Raibick, and makeup artist Alaha Karimi. She added, "And Versace for the inspiration and the earrings and pins, and, of course, to J.Lo for the great idea."
Jennifer was accompanied by her husband Bill Aydin, who went dressed as the late Prince.
Of course, Jennifer isn't the first Bravoleb to channel her inner J.Lo. Both Lisa Rinna and Lala Kent have recreated this iconic green Versace look and Melissa Gorga has listed Lopez as her "fashion icon." Wendy Osefo also recently donned a fabulous interview look inspired by the Puerto Rican superstar.
