Lauren Manzo’s Daughter, Markie, Looks Beyond Adorable on Her Last Day of School
Caroline Manzo’s granddaughter had the most precious outfit for a special day.
Caroline Manzo’s granddaughter, Markie Scalia, is easy to adore. Not only is the 6-year-old insanely cute, but she has the most fabulous little wardrobe. And in a recent Instagram share, Markie’s mom, Lauren Manzo, proved that her daughter is still quite the fashionista.
Markie looks sharp for her last day of school
In a June 21 Instagram Story, Lauren shared a photo of Markie posing like a pro. With her hands on her hips and a delighted smile on her face, the cutie pie wore a breezy black top with ruffled straps and matching wide-legged pants. She had on white sandals and a black-and-white printed scrunchie. Markie’s pink glasses, dainty drop earrings, and layered bracelets capped off her look.
So what’s the occasion? “Last day of school!” the Manzo’d with Children mama captioned the picture. Can we just take a moment to appreciate how quickly time flies? In the clip above, a still-pregnant Lauren first reveals whether she’s having a boy or a girl!
And it seems like just yesterday that Markie started pre-K3. Back in 2020, Caroline shared a picture of her granddaughter’s first-day-of-preschool outfit: a little pink dress, accessorized with white hair bows.
A year before that, in 2019, Lauren could hardly believe that her baby was old enough to be having school lunches. She shared a picture of Markie’s first packed lunch and added a caption with a tearful emoji for emphasis. “[First] day of preschool tomorrow and I’m a mess,” she wrote.
Nearly four years later, Markie is a stylish and happy little student.
Lauren’s Sweet Post for Markie’s 5th Birthday
Lauren has always been a proud, loving mama. When her daughter’s fifth birthday rolled around in 2022, she took to Instagram to share her love.
“Happy 5th Birthday to my Sweet Girl! You make me so proud everyday. Smart, kind, funny [and] the most loving little girl,” she captioned an Instagram post.
Lauren added, “Watching you grow has been the biggest blessing and joy in my life. I feel so lucky everyday to be your Mommy. Thank you for making my heart full [and] making us smile every single day. I hope you ask me to rub your back ‘slowly’ [and] tell you a bed time story about ‘Princess Marchesa’ forever.”
She concluded the tribute by writing, “I will love you forever [and] ever — more [and] more everyday, My sweet girl. I love you more than butterflies, sparkles, rainbows, unicorns, princesses, lip gloss [and] ‘this is a big one’…anything in the whole wide world.”
