Melissa and Joe Gorga were on the ground in Miami during Super Bowl LIV. And to say they got a real slice of the action isn't just a metaphorical statement. After the big game, The Real Housewives of New Jersey couple had cake with the halftime act headliner herself — Jennifer Lopez — and they posted pictures to prove it.
It's been established that Lopez is Melissa's celebrity doppelgänger, but it turns out that that the ladies share more than good looks. Judging from the snaps that Joe and Melissa posted at the Super Bowl after party, it seems that the singer shares the Jersey boutique owner's taste for extravagant cakes.
In their photos, Joe and Melissa both showed off the towering confection that a local bakery whipped up for J.Lo. From Divine Delicacies, the same bakery that made Lopez's 50th birthday cake, this dessert had five glittering tiers and decorations — including a sparkling football, a Puerto Rican flag, and a microphone – that nodded to the halftime show. All that was missing were winged servers to wheel out the confection.
