Melissa Gorga Bids an Emotional Goodbye to Her House: "The End of Era"
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member "started to cry" when packing up her six-bedroom Montville, NJ home.
When Melissa Gorga sold her Montville house, she felt a mix of emotions. On January 4, she took to Instagram to share: "It's moving day. It's so, like, bittersweet ... [We have] a lot of memories in this house." And when it was officially time to leave her erstwhile home for good, The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member took a moment to reflect.
The Envy boutique owner posted photos that showed her sitting on moving boxes, blowing kisses to the now-empty house: "Officially said goodbye," she wrote. "Feels like the end of era or something. But I’m all about new beginnings so I’m very excited. I will update you soon as to where we are going." She also shouted out her movers who "handed me tissues when I started to cry!"
Though Melissa has yet to reveal where she and her family are headed next, she did give a teaser about her new house's design aesthetic. Back in December, the fashion plate shared a snap of herself in a vegan leather skirt and a Chanel-inspired jacket. "I'm gonna design my new house kinda like this outfit & my persona," she wrote. "Classy, with a little spicy mixed in."
