There’s a Reason Melissa Told Danielle That Jackie Insulted Her Outfit
Melissa Gorga also shared how Jackie Goldschneider felt about her comments being repeated to RHONJ newcomer Danielle Cabral.
We're only a few episodes into Season 13 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, but tensions are already at a notable high between the Garden State ladies. Just one example of brewing drama involves Jackie Goldschneider and newcomer Danielle Cabral, who got off on the wrong foot when Danielle excluded Jackie from her mozzarella making party after feeling like Jackie was previously "eyeing [her] up and down."
As it turns out, Danielle was correct in that assumption. On the show's February 21 episode, Jackie explained that she did in fact look at Danielle in that way because she didn't like Danielle's outfit. Later in the episode, Melissa relayed that information to Danielle, telling her, "[Jackie] was being a little feisty about your shorts you had on. She was saying it looked like maybe you pulled them out of the hamper." Given Melissa and Jackie's close relationship, the move seemed to confuse some viewers at home.
On Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen the same night, the host asked Melissa on behalf of a social media user, "Why did you tell Danielle what Jackie said about her outfit if Jackie's supposed to be your friend?"
"I wasn't not repeating it for any wrong reasons," Melissa said. "I was just being honest with her, and I don't care. Jackie doesn't care. [Jackie] like unapologetically says what she says about Danielle, which, you know, I don't think she cares. She doesn't even care that I told her."
While Danielle's attire was certainly a topic of conversation on the RHONJ episode, so were her fashion career aspirations as she continues to grow her business, Boujie Kidz. "Melissa, she's actually living the life that I would love to live with business," she said in an interview, referencing Melissa's company, Envy. "I used to work in event planning. I hated my job at the time. I just had my daughter Valentina. I'm like, 'What makes me happy?' Dressing her up. Ding ding: Boujie Kidz."
"Boujie is over the top, glamorous, it's extra, it's fun, it's edgy," she continued. "It represents who I am."
