See Every Beautiful Detail from Nonno's Celebration of Life Gathering
The Real Housewives of New Jersey crew came together to make a touching setup to memorialize the family's patriarch, Giacinto Gorga.
If there’s one thing that the Giudice and Gorga families always make sure to do, it’s capture every special moment. From the iconic Christmas photos Teresa Giudice had taken each year to the memories they’ve shared on-screen, they certainly know how to make a memory last. It’s no surprise that when it came time to honor Teresa and Joe Gorga’s father, Giacinto Gorga (aka Nonno), pictures became an integral part of the decorating process.
On the April 7 episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Melissa Gorga transformed her Jersey Shore home into a beautiful memorial for Nonno. With the ocean as a backdrop, Melissa’s deck was adorned with flowers, food, seashells, candles, and countless photos of Nonno’s best moments. There was even an intricate floral "memory" wall that proudly displayed black and white family photos created by Teresa's go-to florist, Treemendous Florists by Flora Linda.
“Teresa and I have always taken a ridiculous amount of pictures, but now they all paid off, because look how many pictures Teresa put together,” Melissa shared in an interview during the episode. “They’re so beautiful, and I’m so happy we have this many memories.”
The pictures displayed throughout the celebration of life party definitely evoked a special reaction from each of the family members. When Milania Giudice stepped out to look at the setup, she was clearly taken aback, gushing “This is so pretty! My Nonno. I miss him so much.”
The party also included an impressive charcuterie board spread created by Plated by D full of Italian-style snacks including meats, cheese, bread, and various dips and garnishes. The lavish buffet offering even featured framed photos of Nonno and the family throughout.
