How Does Melissa Gorga's Sunday Sauce Compare to Teresa Giudice's? Let's Review
The Real Housewives of New Jersey sisters-in-law made their own renditions of the Italian-American classic this week.
Sunday is a great day to be an Italian-American. On that day, it's cultural tradition to prepare a pasta feast replete with homemade red sauce — or "gravy," depending on your preference. (Watch the video above to hear about the heated controversy surrounding those interchangeable terms.)
In any case, the sauce tradition is certainly strong in The Real Housewives of New Jersey family, and both Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice cooked up FOMO-inducing feasts on September 29. So, how do the sisters-in-laws' home cooking style differ? Let's review the pics.
In photos that Teresa posted, we saw a bubbling "Sunday sauce" loaded with sausages. Later, Teresa posted a snap that showed a plate of spaghetti loaded up with said sauce, as well as a healthy dash of parmesan cheese. Check it out:
Meanwhile, over in Melissa's kitchen, there was a basil-flecked sauce simmering away on the stovetop. The Envy boutique owner also put out a spread that included a lush charcuterie board, charred peppers, and tomato-mozzarella salad. Take a peek:
Whether it's the basil or the sausage, something is making us very hungry right about now.
