Joe Giudice Says He Gave ICE Officers Restaurant Recommendations in Italy
The Real Housewives of New Jersey husband detailed his difficult time in ICE custody while chatting with Andy Cohen.
After serving his prison sentence and being released from ICE custody, Joe Giudice is living in Italy while he awaits a final decision in his ongoing deportation case. On Sunday night, he spoke to Andy Cohen via satellite for The Real Housewives of New Jersey Special Event: Joe and Teresa Unlocked, and shared the details of his travels to Italy from Washington.
On the plane, "I had two immigration officers, one on each side; they're taking selfies with me the entire time," Joe said. "One guy in front, and I think there was someone else that carried a gun or something on the plane, I don't know." He added sarcastically, "I'm a very dangerous guy, I guess."
He continued, "They stood on the plane the whole way 'til we got to Rome. I told them where to go have a good time because they were staying there 'til Monday. So they were heading out to a few islands in Naples, and then they were headed back home."
Andy stopped to clarify. "You gave them restaurant recommendations and stuff? The ICE people? For Italy?" Joe said, "Exactly, I gave them recommendations to go and have a good time."
