Luann de Lesseps Wants a Traditional But Sexy Wedding Look—Make That Three Looks

Luann de Lesseps will ring in 2017 with a splash: The Real Housewives of New York City bride-to-be chose New Year's eve as the date for her Palm Beach wedding. And when "Lu" officially becomes Mrs. Thomas D'Agostino, she'll do it in her traditional grand style. The etiquette pro plans on wearing three dresses, designed by New York City-based Randi Rahm, for her big day.

"I love her as a designer. She's super talented when it comes to bridal and pretty dresses [for the] red carpet. So for this occasion, It's a big night! We're getting married. It's Tom's 50th birthday. And it's New Year's Eve," Luann shared with The Lookbook. "So, only Randi can incorporate all of those things into three dresses for the evening." And since Luann and Randi are buddies, it made coming up with her looks for the night a special challenge, or as Randi put it ,"a treat."

Luann was going for a certain aesthetic for her big day. "I wanted it to be traditional, but I didn't want it to be poofy or anything like that. I wanted it to be very figure-flattering so that through the lace you can see my shape, I wanted to look traditional, but I wanted to look sexy," Luann said.

So, what does that mean? Randi explained that the attire "has a lot of traditional notes in it, but yet it's modern and it's appropriate for her body type, for her elegance, for her stateliness...and it's traditional...Luann." Now we definitely can't wait to see what Luann ends up saying "I do" in.
