Ramona Singer Reveals Why Everyone Gets So Drunk in the Berkshires

Sleeping with the fishes continues to be one of the hottest topics on this season of The Real Housewives of New York City. And not just any fishes — we’re talking sharks and swordfish!

How to Watch

Need a recap? We got you. Dorinda Medley hosts the RHONY gals at her stunning Bluestone Manor estate in the Berkshires season after season, and unbeknownst to us viewers, the cast members were never fans of a certain room in the house. Which room? The fish room, of course.

Painted blue and featuring three gigantic mounted fish on the walls, the room costs a whopping $250,000, according to Dorinda. But despite that, Luann de Lesseps especially didn’t want to be sleeping in there (she was actually going to check into a hotel if she didn’t get her room switched), because she claimed the room had bad juju (it’s where she awoke with a massive hangover the previous year).

So was Lu’s reaction totally out of line? According to Ramona Singer, she was in the clear. “[It] was very appropriate,” Ramona dished on the Bravo Pregame (watch her full interview above!). “Nobody wants to sleep in the fish room!”

Sonja Morgan, however, disagrees. “Actually, Luann should’ve stayed in there because she’s sober,” she recently told Not Skinny But Not Fat podcaster Amanda Hirsch. “Usually we don’t want to stay in there because we’re drunk and you could run into one of those swordfish!”

How will Fish Room-gate end? Tune in tomorrow night at 9/8c to find out!
