Sonja Morgan Shares a Sneak Peek Inside Her New Apartment
The Real Housewives designer looks perfectly cozy celebrating the holidays in a new Instagram pic.
Sonja Morgan recently chose to downsize when she left her New York City townhouse for an apartment in Columbus Circle, right near Central Park. But don’t think that means she’s suffering: In fact, Sonja told Andy Cohen, “I found an apartment I love, it’s very much me, and it has a rooftop and my dog will love it, my daughter will love it and my gays will love it on Wednesdays."
Even still, moving day proved to be stressful for The Real Housewives of New York City designer, especially since her daughter grew up in the space she’s called home for so many years: “My kid was born here! She grew up here,” she said. Since Sonja’s famed brownstone (which rented at a whopping $32,000 a month!) is so lavish, we couldn’t wait to see where the fashionista would be headed next—and now, thanks to her Instagram, we finally have some idea.
The photo shows Sonja leaning against the window in her brand new apartment, which looks like it has a pretty great view of the city lights. She’s also clearly designed in that traditional Sonja style, with a comfortable chair and furry throw pillow setting the mood. “About last night! Loving the NYC lights and decor for the Holidays,” she wrote. “Happy to be in my new apartment.” She’s also dressed to the nines in the comfiest robe we ever did see (from her collection), and casual black mules built for those brutal NYC winters.
The smile on her face says it all—Sonja is in love with her new space, and we can’t wait for more peeks at her pad in the future.
