Let's have a chat about cleaning makeup brushes. If you're like us, you clean them like so: Rinse them off, pat them dry, and then put them back — bristles pointed up — into a jar on your vanity table. If this sounds familiar, Bethenny Frankel has a public service announcement that will do you (and your brushes!) a world of good.
On July 31, The Real Housewives of New York City pal took to Instagram Stories to share a little tip. Showing a photo of her own impressive brush collection, the Skinnygirl founder said: "When you clean your makeup brushes, lay them flat. A lot of people put them in a glass [pointed up] and it will ruin them. [The water] will go down into the wood and rot. So they should be really hanging over the edge [of a surface.]"
