Sonja Morgan Shares the Deets on Her Latest Cosmetic Procedure: "The Drapes Are Up"
The Real Housewives of New York City pal recently paid a visit to her favorite plastic surgeon.
If you’re looking to get the full lowdown on a new cosmetic treatment, Sonja Morgan is your girl. This past Spring, The Real Housewives of New York City entrepreneur gave us the full deets on Thermi, a treatment that uses temperature-controlled radiofrequency technology help lift skin and tighten wrinkles. Since then, Sonja has tried a few more treatments as well as touch-ups, and she spilled all the tea during a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen — watch the video above to see what she says.
While answering caller questions, one fan asked Sonja whether she's had any work done recently. Being the open book that she is, Sonja went on to give the caller the 411 on her latest cosmetics treatments. "I’ve done so many things, I can’t remember," she quipped. "Seriously though, I did do a little touch-up botox, which I think I need to go back because I still see something on this side but not on that side," Sonja said as she compared her eyebrows on the monitor. "I want it to be even." The RHONY pal didn't stop there.
Sonja went on share the scoop behind another treatment: the Thread Lift. "I did try the threading, where you put it in the sides and it pulls up. Amazing! The drapes are up," she boasted. The procedure is a minimally-invasive type of facelift, which implants threads beneath the skin to pull and lift your face for a more youthful appearance (Gwyneth Paltrow is a fan). Sonja went to her go-to plastic surgeon, Dr. Z. Paul Lorenc to get it done.
If you think this treatment sounds painful (which it totally does), you're not alone. Co-guest Kristin Cavallari asked Sonja if the treatment hurt, but surprisingly the New Yorker revealed that it was not painful. In fact, she said that she went to her hairdresser the very next day. "I looked like a q-tip though because they wrapped the bandage around and they put the threads in, which is really just sutures. They dissolve after two months and then it's your face," she added.
Sonja also shared whether she's going to get any else done before the big RHONY Season 10 reunion. Check out the full video above to find out if she has any special treatments planned for the Big Apple gathering.
