Dorinda Medley’s Closet Storage Solution Is Genius
Let's just say that The Real Housewives of New York City friend is going vertical.
Think you have a shoe, bag and frock problem? Well, check out Dorinda Medley’s New York apartment, because you might not feel so bad. The Real Housewives of New York City cast member takes us on a tour of her Upper East Side pad, and though it features a moody and glam living room (we love those dark walls!) and a perfectly functional kitchen, the real star of the show is the closet, or should we say closets. At the time, Dorinda’s daughter Hannah was still living with her, which meant double the fashion excess. (Hannah has since moved out and taken her vast collection of spiked heeled pumps with her!)
The apartment boasts soaring high ceilings, which Dorinda has taken full advantage of in her closets. They feature not one, not two, but three vertical layers of storage space for all Dorinda’s “sparkles and fur” and she puts it, and “shoes, shoes, shoes” — though she notes this closet stores only half of them. I’m guessing the rest are stocked at Bluestone Manor, her fancy manse in the Berkshires. Dorinda needs a ladder to access most of her stuff, good thing she stays so fit. Who knows, maybe an exercise tape could be on the horizon: Dorinda's Closet Workout! See Dorinda's fab space for yourself by watching the above video.
